Happy Birthday Joseph!

Joey turned five last week! We actually celebrated twice: the day before his birthday with Ben's Nana and Poppa who stopped by on their way to Las Vegas, and the Monday after his birthday with my sister Amy's family and my cousin Gerald's family.

Joey wanted a Baja 1000 Birthday Party, so Ben made his cake look like a desert race track.

Singing Happy Birthday! The fishing game was a fun present from Nana and Poppa.

He had fun driving the car on the cake after he blew out the candles.
Good thing it was a clean car!

The Birthday Boy

He looks down at himself and says, "I don't look 5!"

Brigham, Lizzy and Mellyn

The second birthday cake was so yummy! Lemon Strawberry Jello Poke Cake, Mmm
We also had strawberry lemonade slushes and a BBQ.
You might notice Mary's little pregnant belly poking in the side of the picture. We're so excited for them to be expecting #2!
It was so fun to have everyone come visit! And Joey had a very fun birthday!

Ben's cake cracks me up. I hope you appreciate that your husband would make a theme cake. Brett would make a gourmet stuffed duck with all sorts of exotic ingredients, but he would never do more than spread frosting on a cake.

Hence, I am very proud of Ben's cake.
