Kiddie Park

We thought we were saving the best for last by going to the Kiddie Park on our last day in San Antonio. We were a little dissapointed to find it was pretty run down and rusty, but Joseph still had a lot of fun. He went on this car ride about five times in a row, trying out a different car each time

The Boat Ride

Joey would have liked it more if we went on more rides with him, but I didn't think it was worth buying any more all day passes. So we sat in the heat and dust and wished we had not checked out of the hotel already.

We decided to go see the temple while it was opened. We got to walk around the grounds, but the visitor's center was closed. Then we went to Wal-Mart to pass the time and get some snacks for the flight. It felt good to be in a clean air conditioned buidling again.

From there we picked up Ben from his meetings and headed for the airport. It was a long day. Luckily our boys were well behaved and able to sleep again on the plane. We got to Tracy around 1:30 am! Then we headed home in the morning for Ben to be back to work. The Physical Therapist called as we were driving down and told him he did not have to come in that day because they were not busy, but it was too late to turn around and visit family longer. Oh well.
